​Lilian (Sara) has spent much of her life caring for abandoned children. She felt a ‘calling’ because of the love shown for Ronnie when he was an impoverished youngster. “His story drove me to reach out to the vulnerable, the sick and the malnourished.”

 

​Julius (Ronnie) was once homeless himself on the streets of Kampala. “My journey, my story has been shaped by some truly humane individuals. Canaan was born out of a desire to help children in similar situations.”

 

​Jeremy has been involved with CACDI for many years and is a career humanitarian. "I’ve seen enough aid projects to know what makes one honest and sustainable – it's the people. These people are family to me.”
